Liner notes, the legal side

Licensing in plain words

Every SONIQ song comes with a license. A license is permission to use the song in certain ways. It is not ownership. Here is what each one covers.

Business Sound Plan ($99/month)

  • You can play your shop song and the SONIQ playlist out loud in the business locations you list, and use the on-hold version on your phone line.
  • You can post your shop song on your business social accounts.
  • You cannot resell the songs, upload them to streaming services or use them in paid ads without a jingle agreement.
  • The license lasts as long as your plan is active.

Custom gift song ($149)

  • You can play the song at your event, share it with family and friends and post it on personal social accounts.
  • You cannot sell the song, upload it to streaming services or use it to promote a business.
  • This license never expires.

Creator Club ($15/month) and single songs ($29)

  • You can use the songs in your own videos, live streams, podcasts and reels, including monetized ones.
  • You cannot release the song on its own, resell it, or claim it in Content ID.
  • Content you published while your plan was active stays covered after you cancel. A single-song license covers that song for good.

Jingles (from $500)

  • You get an exclusive-use agreement. We never license your jingle to anyone else.
  • You can use it in the places your quote lists: social, radio, TV or streaming.
  • The written agreement you sign is the final word on what is covered.
